This 22-disc box set contains series one through to seven of the BBC drama based on the Highland novels by Compton Mackenzie following the fortunes of Archie MacDonald who is carving out a life for himself as a restauranteur in London when he is summoned home to the Scottish Highlands after his father, the Laird of Glenbogle, is injured in an accident. Returning home Archie discovers the property is debt-ridden and he reluctantly decides to stay on to help turn things around.
